The Residents of Juniper Village have been busy preparing their garden to grow a variety of fresh herbs and beautiful flowers. The Juniper Gents started this project by purchasing seeds and garden supplies at The Home Depot. The Juniper Garden Club planted the seeds in small biodegradable pots made out of toilet paper rolls. Once the seedlings started to sprout they planted the in the courtyard garden. A few Residents braved the brisk weather to get the seedlings planted in the soil while the other members of the garden club watched through the dining room windows. The Residents had assistance from some local boy scouts and girl scouts. Once the gardening was completed the children and Residents enjoyed sharing a cup of hot chocolate.

A Visit from Friends of all Animals
The Residents of Juniper Village get cozy with some cuddly critters. Friends of All Animals is a non-profit animal rescue organization that is dedicated to the protection of all animals through education and awareness. All the kittens that visit are being fostered in homes until they can be adopted. Our Residents play an important role in this fostering process by showering these kittens with lots of love while getting them accustomed human touch. Friends of All Animals visit Juniper Village the first Thursday of every month at 6:30pm.
