The Joyful Noise Singers Salute Ireland!

At Juniper Village at Lebanon, we celebrated St. Patrick's Day for an entire week!  We started off with a lively piano concert by Karl Hausman, who played every Irish tune that was ever written (we think!), and then on March 17th, our own Joyful Noise Singers presented their Salute to Ireland.  The chorus is made up of residents from all areas of Juniper Village, including independent living and personal care residents.  Many thanks to Lindsay, our Business Office Assistant, and Michael from Dining Services for doing solos on "It's Not Easy Being Green" and "Danny Boy".  Several chorus members also had solos and some even told some Irish jokes!  It was a lively event, especially when everyone played instruments and sang "McNamara's Band"!  A wonderful Family and Friends Dinner followed the show, featuring Lamb Stew, Irish Soda Bread, and an Irish Apple Cake for dessert.  Many compliments were sent to Chef Ray after that dinner!
